“…the care of the earth is our most ancient and most worthy and, after all, our most pleasing responsibility. To cherish what remains of it, and to foster its renewal, is our only legitimate hope.” The Art of the Commonplace: The Agrarian Essays of Wendell Berry
Writing has been an off and on hobby of mine until 2013. That’s when I took the plunge into the wonderful world of freelance writing. I recently returned to my rural roots (I kinda like alliteration). This move has revived my passion for growing and raising my own food. I have a penchant for all things natural and sharing that love with others. I love my family, I love to cook and entertain friends, and I love to work with my hands (including writing). I’m more at home digging in the garden than attending garden parties. I’m energized by people, but love solitude. There’s nothing like a lively discussion, but I also value silence (a lot). Some may think me a contradiction, but I like to think I’m well-rounded. I’m moved by faith and love to explore the divine in the mundane of life.
